Ho-Chi-Minh is the biggest city of Vietnam with a population of nearly 13 million. Even though it is not the country’s capital, it remains the most important city in term of economy.

Located on the shores of the Saigon River, former name of the city, Ho Chi Minh provides 10 casinos that are located in big hotels. Gambling is a popular entertainment in the country and its 10 casinos attract a large number of visitors and residents.

Bastion of the army resistance in several wars, Ho Chi Minh is a high symbolic city. Some places give the pride of place to this rich heritage such as the Museum of the War Vestiges, an exceptional museum that highlights the horrors of war. The visits of the Cu Chi tunnels are compulsory. It is thanks to those handmade tunnels that the Vietnamese have rejected the powerful American army.

The city features also magnificent buildings that we can admire all year long. Among them, the Opera and the Central Post are landmarks dating back to the French colonial times. Open all year long, the Central Post can be visited at any time of the day until 8pm. Marvel of the French colonial era; Gustave Eiffel itself designed the frame.

Ho-Chi-Minh has succeeded to develop and become an economic capital. Its financial district is very active. The gigantic Bitexo Financial Tower symbolizes it. This huge tower features, on its 52nd floor, an observation platform overlooking the entire city.

Multiple traditional restaurants allow tasting and discovering the local Vietnamese dishes such as the Pho Soup, Noodle with grilled pork and other Chicken Soup.

Still in the tradition, the AO shows are modern circus representations using mainly bamboo sticks. As poetic as entertaining, this show is impressive and plunge the visitor at the heart of the Vietnamese culture.

Pleasant moments of shopping are possible in the Nguyen Hue Street, a trendy avenue full of chic and varied boutiques.

After the frenzy of the commercial streets, several parks will allow the visitors to enjoy a peaceful time. The Tao Dan Park and the Cong Vien Van Hoa Park are two verdant spaces that are ideals for a break between two visits.
