The full name of Hull is Kingston upon Hull. It is located on the shores of the Hull River, in the East Riding of Yorkshire in the Northwest of England. In 2017, Hull is the UK City of Culture. For that event, the city has invested £25 million for the renovation of the city center. Thanks to that, Hull was even named in the top Rough Guides destination list. There is also a great amount of touristic attractions within the city’s boundaries.

In terms of gaming, gamblers can find two establishments : the Grosvenor Casino and the Napoleons Casino. The Grosvernor is a small casino that features 20 slot machines and tables of Roulette, Three Card Poker and Blackjack. There is also a poker Room suggesting Texas Hold’em. The Napoleons features a dozens of slot machines as well as a dozen tables of American roulette, Blackjack and Three Card Poker.

Thanks to its culture and many monuments, Hull is a pleasant city to visit. The 2017 UK City of Culture features numerous attractions that could please many types of tourists. The independence and proud municipal history is symbolized by the unique white phone boxes when all the other in England are red.

The Scale Lane Bridge may be the most uncommon attraction to visit in Hull. All black and grey, the bridge was supposed to connect the city centre to the eastern side of the Hull River. The project was never completed, and now remains a half bridge extended in the river. It became a place to see, tough.

The Deep is another place that attracts many tourists and locals. This huge aquarium and museum made of glass and aluminium overlooks the Humber Estuary. This iconic building attracted two times the number of visitors expected in the first year of its opening.

The culture lovers will be glad to know that Hull features a great number of free museums. From local history to Art galleries, every taste will be satisfy. The most popular remains the Hull and East Riding Museum, the Streetlife Museum, the Ferens Art Gallery, the Wilberforce House and the Maritime Museum.

The Humber Bridge is one of the many pride of the city. For 16 years, it was the world’s longest suspension bridge. Looking like the Golden State Bridge of San Francisco, the structure is stunning. The best moment to admire the Humber Bridge is during a beautiful sunset.

Sports lovers staying in Hull will have the opportunity to watch a soccer or rugby game at the KCOM Stadium. When rugby is traditionally the favorite sport of the locals, soccer games are also a great show to watch thanks to the spirit of the English fans known all around the world.
