Located on the East bank of the Missouri River, Council Bluffs is a city situated on the border with Iowa and Nebraska. It was formerly named Kanesville, the historic starting point of the Moron Trail. Nowadays, the city of Council Bluffs has a population estimated at nearly 63,000.
