The World Series of Poker are back in Europe

This year, it is Spielbank Casino in Berlin which will do the honor of welcoming the World Series of Poker held every two years.

After London, Cannes and Enghien-les-Bains, the WSOP will take place for the first time in Berlin.

London's Casino Empire had held the World Series for two years in a row. Cannes Majestic Barrière took over for the two following editions. Last year, they were held in Enghiens-les-Bains, a city which did not reach success due to its lack of activities outside of the casino.

At a point where the organization was failing to find an adequate site for the European edition, it finally votes in favor of Berlin. It is a victory for Germany which wins against Spain, its number one adversary.

"Germany is a sitter of talented poker players", pointed out Ty Stewart, chief executive of the WSOP. "Berlin became a logical choice for the WSOP if we take a look on the major lack of poker events in the city for a long period of time. We really think that it will be the most beautiful WSOP of all time", he added.

The 2015 Europe WSOP announced on Thursday, 7th May the full schedule that will take place during the whole month of October. The event will start off with a €2,000 Six-Handed-No-Limit Hold'em on October, 8th at 2pm and will end with a €25,600 High Roller.

To support the ten main events , the organization also offers side events and cash games.
