Besides it several casinos, it is going to be possible to thrill even more in Atlantic City. The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority gave its approval for the “Polercoaster” construction, a 350-foot vertical roller coaster on about 1 acre of surface.

The huge structure will be taking place between the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard and Mount Vernon and Kentucky avenues, on the site of the former Sands casino.

A similar project already exists in Orlando, Florida and attracts plenty of tourists. However, the Atlantic City’s attraction will be 100-feet higher.

Included in the structure, a bar and a “nightlife component“ will be available to spend an epicurean day or night.

The plan was partly financed by Chinese investors through the visa program EB-5, which allow US non-residents investors to get the Green Card.

That is not the only one project in Atlantic City this year. Indeed, a 200-feet observation wheel is being build at the Steel Pier. Planned in 2016, the investors hope to attract 50,000 riders per month.

There is no official release date so far, but managers wish to open the “Polercoaster” as soon as possible.

Came back to the light lately, AC wants to do everything to increase its attractiveness.

The will of diversification goes in that way. For curious and bolds, this is a new reason to discover this historical city of New Jersey, which you can visit during a stay in New York for example (Located just 94 miles from NY)!
