Last Chance Casino and Bingo is set to open during the month. A rustic feel will be the main theme of the place to remind the surrounding environment.

A long wait

The Sauk-Suiattle tribe has been looking to open a casino for 2 years now. And a few weeks from now, it will finally be a reality.

After many set-backs, the project finally got some traction when earlier this year, they managed to sign a partnership with the Shoalwater Bay Tribe.

About six miles outside of Darrington, the Casino should include 188 slots machine and 65 bingo seats. A cafe and a small bar and lounge are also planned.

Up to 50 new jobs should be created thanks to it.

A club-card program will also be available called "Whitehorse Rewards".

Whitehorse Mountain can be seen from the parking lot and so they decided to have a logo on the card that is a canoe with a mountain in the background and the word Sobah-Li-Ali, which means Whitehorse Mountain.

They want to show their tribe history through their items but also through the general feel of the casino. They want you to get interested and ask question about the meaning of those items and their history.

Many Bigfoot references will also be done like a Bigfoot Burger at the cafe, a Bigfoot Brew made by a local brewery and Bigfoot Bucks promotions.

The casino is set to be open during the month at 3218 Cheif Brown Lane, Darrington, Washington.
