  • WSOP Main Event 2015

Final table, D-day! Players are back at the Rio Casino Las Vegas for the traditional 'November Nine' after a four-month break. Confident that they'll win at least $1,000,000, the 9 remaining competitors of the largest yearly Poker Event of the world began playing a couple of hours ago.

By the way, last we heard, three of them have already been eliminated. Unfortunately, our European favorites Federico Butteroni and Pierre Neuville respectively ranked at 8 and 7th place, both of them have been eliminated by the chipleader Joe McKeehen who is 'on fire'.

Indeed, he ejected the last five players of the tournament and possesses now more than 50% of the table chips. We wish good luck to Max Steinberf, Neil Blumenfield, Thomas Cannuli, Josh Beckley and Zvi Stern to prevent him from crushing this TF.

Note that the game is paused until this evening. To legally watch all of this, you can buy a pass on ESPN to watch the whole event broadcasting live just for $2.99. Pretty cool!

  • Battle of Malta: the beginning of the war

Organized in Portomaso Casino, it's billed as one of the most "profitable" tournaments of the tour by the players. It must be said that with its €550 worth Buy-In, it reached a prize-pool of more than €700,000 last year. Amazing! The event's reputation was built upon the numerous organized parties, which are reportedly very festive...

This year, a bit more than €500,000 are to be shared. It started on November, 4th and will end today. According to the latest information, Frenchman Nicolas Proust succeeded in reaching the TF. Good luck!

  • "Kid Poker", the movie about Daniel Negreanu's life

Pokerstars Original Films announced last week the upcoming release (at an unknown date) of a movie retracing the path of Daniel Negreanu, the first of the 'all time money list' and loved player among the whole community. Portrayed as very friendly, funny and humane, this documentary will please all his fans from all around the world. Debut and evolution in the poker world, settling in Toronto then moving out to Las Vegas, testimony from relatives... you will soon have the chance to get to know the Kid!

  • Winamax Poker Tour in Paris

The Parisian qualifying stage of the Winamax Poker Tour was being played over the last weekend, in the beautiful surroundings of the Grande Halle de la Villette. This tournament, which is one of the rare ones to be played in the light of the day, got together more than 2,000 players!

Welcomed by the whole Winamax team (Patrick Bruel, Sylvain Loosli, Davidi Kitai...), the players, qualified for free, competed against one another for hours all over the weekend.
